Global Village Field Experience - Vietnam

What is Global Village Field Experience? 

Global Village is an exciting, practical, and multidisciplinary program that brings students together from different countries, in order to investigate challenges and opportunities related to development in Vietnam. It is a great opportunity for students from Vietnam to meet and work with students from other countries (e.g. Japan), practice their English and learn practical soft-skills that will be valuable in their future careers.

What will we do? 

Students will work together to assess the various strengths of local communities through using the asset-based community development (ABCD) framework. After learning these essential skills for community development, students will work together in small groups to design and plan a project to benefit the local community. In addition to gaining these practical skills, students will also be immersed in English, since all fieldwork activities will be conducted in English.
